The Motul A2 Air Filter Oil, specially developed for foam air filters, comes in a handy aerosol can and is a very important product for off road, enduro and cross motorcycles. When an air filter is properly lubricated with Motul A2 Air Filter Oil, it ensures that the life of the engine block is not affected. This product keeps unwanted dirt and sand at bay. In addition, a dirty air filter greatly increases the chance of a jam. If dirt gets into the engine despite the air filter, it can cause serious damage. This is because the lubrication no longer works properly. When dealing with a dirty foam air filter, it is easiest to clean it again with Motul A1 Air filter Clean. Motul A2 Air Filter Oil does not have to be used for every air filter. Most of the air filters are used dry. With this aerosol Air Filter Oil you spray the foam air filter generously on the outside and inside. Then massage the filter with protective gloves or do this thoroughly using a plastic bag until the filter has taken on a uniform blue color throughout. Then lay the filter to dry for about 2 hours.
