The Scooter Gear from Putoline is a SAE 90 transmission oil, suitable for all modern 2-stroke scooters. The strong resistance to oxidation together with the anti-wear in this Scooter Gear oil is due to the Putoline additives. These special additives ensure a good lubricating and cooling effect. This makes this oil suitable for making optimal use of the life of your gearbox during normal driving. For a good cooling and lubricating effect of the oil it is important that the correct oil is used and that it is regularly topped up and changed. If you do not know which transmission oil is suitable for your scooter, please refer to the user manual of your scooter. Here you can also immediately find the refresh interval. When it is time to replace the transmission oil, you will first have to remove the old oil. This is best done when the engine is warm, warm oil flows out more easily than cold oil and it also takes more dirt with it.
