The BTX9 battery of the BS Battery brand is a factory activated maintenance-free AGM battery. This supplies 12V and has a capacity of 8Ah with a starting current of 135A. This BS Battery battery is comparable to the YTX9 lead battery. The big difference between a lead battery and this factory activated battery is that you don't have to fill it with acid. It is already there and cannot evaporate if the battery is incorrectly charged. Another advantage of these BS Battery SLA batteries is that they have a slower self-discharge during the storage period, although it is wise to still attach them to a suitable motorcycle battery charger in winter. It extends the lifespan and saves you unnecessary costs for the early replacement of the motorcycle battery.
