The Yuasa Gel battery YTZ8V is a maintenance-free battery and has a long service life. The advantage of a gel battery is that you do not have to fill it with acid first. The acid is not in it and therefore cannot evaporate if the battery is charged incorrectly. Just as with an acidic battery, this YTZ8V Gel battery also has to be 100% charged before use. The battery may have been pre-charged by the manufacturer, but how full is it when you start using the battery? Therefore, fully charge the battery with a suitable charger before placing it in the engine. Although the gel battery discharges less quickly compared to the lead-containing battery, it is also important with this battery to maintain the capacity during a longer period of standstill of the motorcycle. It extends the service life and saves you unnecessary costs for early replacement of the motorcycle battery.
